The conversation addresses some very much-needed dialogue centered around the need for knowing yourself and doing the spiritual, moral, and financial work before pursuing a marriage relationship. The two take a walk down memory lane and speak to their must-haves and how they articulated those must-haves to their new significant other. We all know that marriage in the black community has been somewhat of a pain point and needs to be completely overhauled in the way we think, act and feel about the institution of marriage.
