Former St. Louis County police officer Preston Marquart was charged with second degree involuntary manslaughter in Akeelah Jackson's death in October 2019. Jackson died after being hit was struck by the St. Louis County police cruiser on October 14, 2019.
Jen shares the disappointing ruling from Circuit Judge Scott Millikan released Friday October 15th acquitting Marquart of all charges.
